WHAT INFORMATION I MAY COLLECT

Depending on how you contact or book with me, I may collect:

• Your name, email address, telephone number and address

• Information provided through my website, Facebook, Instagram, Messenger or Meta lead adverts

• Details about your enquiry, preferred session, requested dates and who you would like included

• A child’s name and age when supplied by their parent or guardian

• Session-planning information, including a baby’s age or expected arrival timeframe

• Booking, contract, invoice and payment records

• Messages and other correspondence

• Photographs and video created during your session

• Website information such as your IP address, browser, device and cookie data

Please only provide information that is relevant to your enquiry. If health-related information is needed for the comfort or safety of a session, I will use it only for that purpose and with your explicit consent.

HOW I COLLECT INFORMATION

I may receive information:

• Directly from you by email, telephone, contact form or during the booking process

• Through Facebook, Instagram, Messenger or a Meta lead advert

• Through Pixieset galleries, booking tools, questionnaires or online store services

• Automatically when you use this website, through essential cookies and similar technology

HOW I USE YOUR INFORMATION

I use personal information to:

• Respond to enquiries and provide prices and availability

• Recommend and plan a suitable photography session

• Manage bookings, contracts, payments and appointments

• Photograph your session and prepare, edit and deliver your gallery

• Arrange prints, albums or other products you order

• Provide customer service and respond to questions

• Maintain business, accounting and legal records

• Protect my website, galleries and business systems

• Send marketing messages only where you have agreed to receive them

LAWFUL BASIS FOR USING YOUR INFORMATION

I rely on one or more of the following lawful bases:

• Contract — when information is necessary to respond to your request, arrange a booking or provide your photography service

• Legal obligation — when records must be retained for tax, accounting or legal purposes

• Legitimate interests — for reasonable business administration, security, customer service and protecting legal rights

• Consent — for optional marketing, public use of photographs and any health-related information you choose to provide

You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing permission to use photographs publicly will apply to future use but may not always allow material already printed or published to be recalled.

PHOTOGRAPHS AND CHILDREN’S INFORMATION

A parent or legal guardian must provide information and booking permission for a child.

Your photographs will not be used on my website, social media, advertising, competitions or portfolio unless suitable permission has been obtained. Declining permission for public use will not affect the photography service you receive.

WHO I MAY SHARE INFORMATION WITH

I may share only the information necessary with trusted service providers that help me operate my business, including:

• Pixieset for website hosting, galleries, bookings and image delivery

• Meta when you contact me through Facebook, Instagram, Messenger or a lead advert

• Email, calendar, cloud-storage and business-administration providers

• Payment processors and accounting services

• Professional printing laboratories, album suppliers or delivery companies when you order products

• Legal, insurance or regulatory authorities when required by law

These providers process information only for the relevant service. I do not sell or rent your personal information.

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, I use providers that apply recognised safeguards for international data transfers.

HOW LONG I KEEP INFORMATION

I keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary:

• Unsuccessful enquiry details may be retained for up to 24 months, unless you ask me to delete them sooner

• Contracts, invoices and payment records are normally retained for six years for tax and legal purposes

• Online client galleries are normally available for 30 days unless otherwise agreed

• Working image files are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to edit, deliver and manage your order

• Final photographs may be held securely in my professional archive to help with replacement requests, unless you ask for deletion and there is no legal or contractual reason to retain them

• Marketing information is retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent

SECURITY

I take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure. However, no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information

• Request deletion of information

• Restrict or object to how information is used
